Senior Victoria Porcasi and freshman Jessica Mecham were named the Skyline Scholar-Athletes of the Year in women's basketball and softball for the 2018-19 season.
For the 2018-19 academic year, 85 Bear student-athletes were conferred with Skyline Academic Honor Roll distinction.
The freshman third baseman who led the Skyline in most offensive categories is the second student-athlete in team history to be selected to the NFCA All-Region team.

Hartwig is the second Bear in any sport to be named Skyline Player of the Year after leading the league in batting average, slugging, hits, home runs, RBI, and doubles.
The Bears took a 3-0 lead in their second-straight Skyline postseason appearance, but the Dolphins scored eight unanswered with a big seven-run sixth inning that ended the Bears season in the first round at 16-20 overall.
In just her first collegiate start, Allison Kaspar fired a one-hit shutout and was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week.
Making just her second collegiate start in the circle, freshman Allison Kaspar fired her first complete-game shutout to help preserve a 1-0 victory over Mount Saint Vincent.
Senior Nicole Quintana's grand slam highlighted a come-from-behind 12-4 win over the Dolphins in the opener. SJC was two outs away from a run-rule sweep in the nightcap before CSI scored nine unanswered over the final two innings.
Freshmen Jessica Mecham and Ashleigh Hartwig helped lead the Bears to a 4-0 week.
Freshman Ashleigh Hartwig helped pay tribute to the two graduating seniors with a 6-for-6 day knocking four doubles and a pair of home runs.
Jessica Mecham fired a three-hit shutout and Gabriella Salvador drove in four runs during 8-0 and 9-2 triumphs over the Bloodhouds.
